The installer is a 32-bit installer, but there is no reason it can't work on 64-bit Vista. The problem is that under 64-bit Vista, it creates the directory in the wrong place. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Movie Maker, copy the complete contents of the Shared folder over to C:\Program Files\Movie Maker. Then it should work the next time you start WMM.

I am using 64-bit Vista and it doesn't work.

Are you on a 64-bit version of Windows by any chance? As for the arrows, check the WindowsMovieMakers.net forums and search for "25 random titles". You could use the WingDing fonts and some arrow characters to point at whatever you wanted.

ok i installed it and it doesn't seem to work. i can't find it under one line titles at all. btw, i have a question too. does anyone know how to like add like arrows pointing at random stuff On a video? i don't know if it's possible but i want to see if i could do it. kind of like a subtitle but basically something that you could put anywhere on the video, not just at the bottom. say, an arrow with accompanying text pointing at a person on the left side

i had these working once but WMM wasnt because of another program i ahd installed, so i deleted these but now MM works but these wont install and dont work anymore. any ideas on why they dont work?

(deleted last post) Oh alright I just figured out how to make custom ones, there's probably a nicer way but this still works, and involves no coding or anything.

1. Install Blaine's icons.
2. Open up the directory My Computer > Local Disk C: > Program Files > Movie Maker > Shared > AddOnTFX.
3. Here are all of the image file used, make a copy of all of them so you can always get them back. You can keep them in the same folder, it won't matter.
4. Now take one of the original images and open it up with Paint or whatever, and edit it to say or show whatever you like. I bet you could even just have a new picture in there all together if you copy/paste it. When you're done, save it as the original filename.
5. Now whenever you open WMM2 and go to where you would normally find the TV Ratings to add in, select the one that you edited, and your edited picture will be in there.

If you ever want the original back, just copy/paste the copy you made in step 3 back into Paint. (I'm sure ya know what I mean.)
