Here's a couple new effects for the Vista version of Movie Maker. The first two effects are called 'Bloom In' and 'Bloom Out'. They create a bright glare to come from lighter items in the video. If you use Bloom Out at the end of a clip, and Bloom In at the beginning of the next, you can get a cool transition, that you've probably seen a lot on TV. The other effect is a Negative effect which reverses all the color values. Preview a video of the Bloom and Negative effects
To install: Click on the icon above which will download the custom negative and bloom effects. Save the installer, then run it to install the custom code you'll need for Vista Movie Maker.After installing, you'll have the new effects the next time you start up Movie Maker.

But I have a question about RehanTFX. If it expires, what happens. They say you can't use effects and translations?
And what about the Additional ShaderTFX Transitions/Effects, can they still be used?
MovieMakersKid new translation pakkage works with RehanTFX, will it be usefull if you can't pay for RehanTFX?
I hope you can explain this to me.

Thanks for the comments. As for the expiration behavior of Rehan's Shader TFX, that would be better answered by Rehan. From my experience most things work after the expiration except for the things requiring images (gradient wipes, for example).

That's already part of Rehan's ShaderTFX package. Check the following list of custom Vista Effects/Transitions/Titles for a link to ShaderTFX.
yes but Rehan's ShaderTFX package is trial version and i havent visa ... i want somethink without paying.. thanks again
I believe bluescreen works in the trial version of ShaderTFX... only gradient wipes and things that require images seem to require registration.

GOOD JOB MAN keep up the good work and the VISTA MOVIE MAKER effects and transitions and all of this work u do with it, u are my only source for new effects on vista movie maker:P again keep up the good work =)
Clever! Could you please make effects for Windows Movie Maker on Vista that involve a PNG overlapping a video?
PNG Overlays can already be done with Rehan's ShaderTFX package.

Please provide more details... for example are you running a 64-bit version of Windows Vista? Are you on a non-English version of Windows? Did you restart Movie Maker before checking? What are the actual symptoms? Are you sure you are looking in 'Video Effects'?
