Note: These titles have been designed to work with either WMM 2.1 (XP) or WMM 6.0 version.
There are two installers depending on whether you are running on a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows. The installer will put the necessary files into C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\Shared.
Blaine's TV Ratings Titles (32-bit)To use the new titles, go to 'Tools' > 'Titles and Credits' > 'Title on the selected clip' > 'change the title animation'. Under your list of one line titles should be 6 new ones called:
Blaine's TV Ratings Titles (64-bit)
If you want an additional subtitle, type it into the text fields, otherwise just type a single space. Click 'Done'.
I see this: A network error occured while attempting to read from file...(and it gives my location.
ReplyDeleteWhat caused this to happen and can I do anything to download these ratings to MM?
great effects
ReplyDeletewondering how i could change the position of the rating title
wasn't sure which numbers to edit in the xml file to get the rating to where i want it to be (eg. x% from the left or right and y% from the top or bottom)
also the title doesn't fade in and out.
awesome effects...have been using the slow/speed and resize effects
using vista version 6.0
can sumbody tell me how to put them on wmm
ReplyDeleteBlaine, It's been several years since my last visit. I really love these "TV Ratings" titles, but I can't figure out how to get them in my MovieMaker 6.0? I would also love to download your other effects and transitions, which I've tried. I get the downloader and run it, but can't find out where they are, because they aren't showing up in MM. Is there something different I have to do using Vista 64 bit?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, and sorry for my ignorance:)
@Danny, the current installer is a 32-bit installer so it will put things in the wrong place on a 64-bit machine. But all you have to do is copy the complete contents of C:\Program Files (x86)\Movie Maker\Shared (including subfolders) to C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\Shared.
ReplyDeleteSince this reply, I've added a 64-bit installer so the manual copying is no longer necessary. Enjoy.
Delete@Blaine, Thanks! You are so helpful and I really appreciate that! I had been pretty active several years ago in video editing as a hobby, and you always helped me out, including ther Movie Maker Forums. I have forgotten much, since my car accident several years ago, and am only now returning to my hobby, which I love!
ReplyDeleteThanks again!
